Directors is extending an invitation to the Society for Underwater Technology to be the Invited Organization for
the 2019 Offshore Technology Conference. The conference will be held 6-9 May 2019 at NRG Park in Houston,

The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) is where energy experts and professionals meet to dialog and exchange their ideas and opinions to advance scientific knowledge for offshore resources.
The Society for Underwater Technology in the US (SUT-US), as the invited professional organization for OTC 2019, presents a technical session considering the multi-disciplinary specialties found across its committees, including: the Offshore Site Investigation and Geotechnics Committee (OSIG), the Group of Environmental Forces Committee (GEF), the Robotics and Automation Committee (RA), the Subsea Engineering and Operations Committee (SEO), and the Offshore Renewables Committee (OR).
The Chairs of this session will be Dr. Zenon Medina-Cetina, President and Chair of SUT-US and Associate Professor and holder of the Zachry Career Development Professorship II at Texas A&M University; and Kim Faulk, Chair of the SUT-US OSIG Committee, and Chief Operating Officer at The PAST Foundation.
This session will cover the latest topics in research and applications in underwater technology, from probabilistic stratigraphy integration, installation of foundations systems, probabilistic pipeline routing, a review of energy conservation, to a multi-institutional state of the art review on Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUVs).
