The Women in Industry Subcommittee (WIND) of the Society for Underwater Technology in the US (SUT-US) is pleased to invite you to the Champagne & Conversation Series: "Cultural and Leadership Evolution for a Multi-generational Workforce ," where we will hear from Evelyn MacLean on her career evolution.

The energy transition demands a diverse and inclusive workforce. Our industry is facing declining popularity affecting career choices made by current and future workforce talent. As humans, we don’t multi-task well nor do we embrace change with ease. How must company cultures and leadership evolve to motivate and inspire our multi-generational workforce? Join us for a session to explore who we are and how we lead and connect with others.

The first glass of bubbly is on us with complimentary appetizers.

Evelyn MacLean - Workforce Energy Taskforce Director @ IOGP

Evelyn MacLean was appointed International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) Director of Workforce Energy Task Force in February of 2021.

An energizing people-centered leader with deep expertise in culture shaping and business transformation who brings high caliber experience to companies seeking enhanced performance through collaboration and inclusion. Evelyn, a Scot, is a former Chief Procurement Officer with over 30 years’ multi-cultural experience oil and gas industry, working for Halliburton, Marathon, bp and Hess.

Early career shaping years were spent working in fabrication and construction in the Scottish Highlands on major projects, in a heavily male dominated union-led environment. Evelyn attributes her career success to her curious growth mindset and respect for others’ points of view. Highlights include leading major multi-cultural transformations; lowlights include losing top talent during acute down cycles in the industry. Evelyn subscribes to INSEAD Alumni, holds memberships to CIPS, SPE, ICF, IMCUSA and ISPSO, and sits on the board of Bayou Companies (Altamont Private Equity).

She holds a master’s degree from INSEAD in Consulting and Coaching for Change, and a bachelor’s degree in Management from Bellevue University, and has studied Law at Aberdeen University and Psychology at Inverness Technical College. Over the past two years, Evelyn became a Certified Business and Personal Coach, gained an Executive Certificate in Management & Leadership from MIT-Sloan, and completed training in Organizational Transactional Analysis with The Berne Institute.
