Caption for Image: SeaFlo Demo of Digital Twin Simulations Creating a sustainable and transparent process during the lifespan of an offshore project is required to enable a connected and automated mechanism between plant, supply chain, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), customers, and key stakeholders. A Digital Twin is a digital replica of a real-world entity or system that facilitates such connection, predicts outcome scenarios, and supports enhanced business decision-making. The open architecture of a Digital Twin is a cloud-based storage with real-time dynamic life cycle data fueled by predictive engine analytics, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality visual simulations from dynamic 3D high-fidelity interactive models generated with finite element analysis (FEA). This tool maximizes the quality and availability of products, customizes products, and fosters a proper feedback system. Digital iTwin asset solutions are aligned with Blue Economy applications for Ports, Marine Terminals, Wave Energy, Remotely Operated Autonomous Vessels, and Defense Sector contracts. This presentation will highlight the importance of developing a qualified/quality-assured solution with 3rd party independent verification by Bureau Veritas and will go through examples of Digital Twins applications in real projects. |
