Showcasing the Latest in Subsea and Marine Technology

This will be a high-energy technical networking event hosted by the Society for Underwater Technology in U.S. (SUT-US) and Innovation Norway, designed to highlight the latest innovations in subsea and offshore technology for the energy and marine sectors.

The event features a series of fast-paced “Lightning Talk” presentations, where technology developers and solution providers introduce new subsea tools, systems, and software. Presentations are short, focused, and application-driven, bridging technical development with real-world industry needs. Topics may include advanced ROV tools, subsea power and batteries, monitoring and sensing technologies, inspection systems, and digital solutions for offshore operations.
Connect. Compete. Collaborate.

Before and after the presentations, attendees are invited to connect during networking and refreshments with industry professionals, share insights, and explore new opportunities. This is your platform to shine, learn, and make an impact within the subsea and offshore community.

Here are some of the Companies that will be competing that day.

Sonardyne
Observer is Sonardyne’s next generation of monitoring transponder built on over a decade of successful project experience in Subsea Asset Monitoring. Working from lessons on prior systems we’ve designed this new platform around our SMARTcore architecture, which combines ultra-low-power processing with high-performance Edge Processing capability. We understand no two applications are the same, this is why we have designed Observer to put the user in control, with interfaces to support a wide range of sensor types, along with the ability to configure sampling rates, deployment schedules, estimate battery life and expected deployment duration using the topside software. We also know Observer on its own is not enough, which is why our team will work with you to design and fabricate specialized mounting brackets and clamps based on standard designs to seamlessly integrate Observer into your project, including ROV-friendly designs for efficient installation and retrieval.

zuptZupt propose to share a technical overview of their latest subsea imaging solution - 3D Recon V2. 3D Recon is a 4,000m-rated, self-contained system that delivers high-resolution, geospatially accurate 3D models of subsea infrastructure. The latest version introduces the ability to generate a real-time dense point cloud, allowing operators to immediately assess coverage quality during acquisition. Its integrated SLAM navigation enables precise inspection, positioning, and automated change detection across a range of applications, including pipeline surveys, asset integrity monitoring, and dimensional control at depth.

onesubsea
We represent OneSubsea Processing. We deliver large subsea processing systems to oil and gas operators, including subsea boosting systems that enhance oil and gas production using subsea multiphase pumps, subsea seawater treatment and injection systems, subsea gas compression systems, subsea separation systems, and subsea multiphase metering solutions. We will present a model of a subsea production tree, a manifold model, and several umbilical cross?section samples.

Ocean Visual
Oil spill detection today relies heavily on satellite monitoring and optical camera systems. However, satellites cannot identify oil type, are ineffective at night, and fail to detect up to 40% of submerged hydrocarbons. Camera systems are similarly limited to surface visibility and are highly dependent on daylight, weather, and sea state conditions. These limitations create critical gaps in environmental protection, increase clean-up costs, and make it difficult to attribute spills to the responsible source.
Ocean Visuals introduces a new approach: the only commercially validated in-situ hyperspectral LiDAR sensor system deployed in live offshore operations. The system provides continuous, 360° monitoring of both surface and submerged oil around offshore assets, delivering real-time detection, classification, and quantification of hydrocarbons at ppm sensitivity — independent of light conditions. This enables operators to detect releases within minutes rather than hours, improve total hydrocarbon detection rates by up to 40–60% compared to satellite- and camera-based workflows, and significantly reduce response time, environmental impact, and clean-up costs.
