Marine Geohazards

Why Marine Geohazards?
What are Marine Geohazards and why are they studied in support of offshore energy operations – be it oil and gas or renewables? Why for example “Marine” Geohazards – what is so special about the marine setting versus onshore?

In this seminar & webinar presentation, Andy Hill who is BP’s Marine Geohazards Technical Authority will give an introduction to the subject matter drawing on examples from around the world. In doing so he will highlight just what can go wrong and the types of data that are used to define some of the issues at play to allow their proper mitigation in engineering.

A networking event will follow after the presentation at the same location. Invite your colleagues for the discussion and a great evening of conversation with the SUT-US Young Professionals.
