Since joining in 2014 Matthew has helped develop OFG’s position as a leader in specialised sensors and services that enable and use robotic platforms for subsea site survey and non-contact infrastructure inspection. While growing into the oil & gas and offshore renewables markets OFG has continued to maintain a strong presence in seafloor minerals exploration. Matthew is a mechanical engineering graduate of the University of British Columbia School of Engineering. His professional career before OFG includes leading a design team for computer vision systems for manufacturing, then successfully founding, growing and selling a company that developed sensor-based sorting technology for the mining industry. In his professional life at OFG, Matthew is surrounded by a team of incredibly smart, creative, dedicated and kind people that have supported the growth of the company and its reputation with its clients.
