We are excited to announce an online scotch whisky tasting as part of the SUT-US networking event on May 6th, 2021.

We will be taking a tour through the different regions of Scotland which are home to some of the most renowned whisky. Representing the different regions of Scotland we will be tasting Balvenie 12 years, Bunnahabhain 12 years, Macallan 12 years, Glenlivet 14 years, and Johnnie Walker Black Label.

The tasting will be accompanied by a presentation from Roneet Das. The event is free to attend. Due to COVID related restrictions we can not meet in person or ship the whisky samples. The participants are required to buy their own whisky.

We encourage everyone from a whisky connoisseur to someone who wants to learn more about the world of scotch whisky to join us for a memorable evening!

The Specs will do a delivery in Harris and Fort Bend counties. The rates vary between $17.00 and $25.00.

About the Presenter

Roneet Das is a geotechnical engineer/consultant with Norwegian Geotechnical Institute in Houston, TX. He has been a part of SUT since 2015 and currently serves as the Vice-chair of SUT-YP and a mentor in the SUT mentorship program. He is a whiskey enthusiast and has visited several distilleries in United States to learn the process distilling whiskey and most importantly enjoying them
